2024 YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION
Sponsored by the WE Energies Foundation
The Lakeshore Symphonic Band, serving southeastern Wisconsin since 1977, is proud to continue its annual tradition of providing an opportunity for a high school wind or percussion musician to perform a solo work with the band.
The selection chosen by the student must have a band or chamber wind ensemble accompaniment available for purchase or loan (no rentals allowed).
The winning student will receive a scholarship award of $1000
and perform during the spring concert at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, at the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center.
Please note that winner must be able to attend at least 2 of our Wednesday evening rehearsals prior to the concert.
